The Mitre - a new and bold step for the ODU

Finally, a few weeks ago, The Mitre, the ODU's new home, opened for business. Situated on the righthand side of the Bishops' Avenue as you drive towards the school and looking out onto the Woodlands and Cemetery fields, it is a statement of pride, progress and permanence.

The Sanatorium (our old home) will now house, well, the san, the School shop, the travel agent and a physiotherapy suite. OD memorabilia will be available in The Mitre.

The Mitre would love to welcome ODs especially those from abroad. It's also available, on a commercial basis, for hire.

If you are in Cape Town and visiting Bishops, do drop in. If you need to arrange your visit, the indefatigable Delré O'Rourke our global administrator (and who took all these photos) is there to help. She can be reached on +27 21 6851829 or dorourke@bishops.org.za

The photos (other than the second) are not described, but I think they should be easy to place in the context of the campus.
