OD Asset Managers' Group - Inaugural drinks

Of all the careers pursued by ODs in the UK, by far the most popular - by number anyway - is some form of asset management. Once upon a time, Bishops boys worked hard so as to get into medical school. Nowadays, it seems, the lure of trading floor is stronger than the operating theatre.

So forming an OD Asset Managers' group seemed inevitable and at the last count, it had just over 50 members. Last night (16 February) 17 of them gathered in The Bishop's Room at Ye Olde Mitre (how home-from-home is that) to meet like-minded ODs, swap stories and broaden their networks. A special word of welcome to Niall Brown (G, 1973) who was visiting London from Cape Town. (The group is open to any OD anywhere and they can join by clicking HERE.)

At the bottom of this blog are the names, years and houses of the Group members; those highlighted were at the drinks and in these photos.
