2019 OXFORDSHIRE PUB LUNCH

At what is now a firm and favourite tradition, 24 ODs and wives gathered at The Bell, just outside Oxford for our annual pub lunch. We were  delighted to welcome Deborah Honoré, whose husband Tony (F, 1939) died in February this year.

The Bell seem to look forward to having us and always look after us very well. Sadly, Chris (G, 1958) and Seonaid Danziger, And Mike Taylor (G, 1959) regulars of the Oxford set were unable to join but, according to the wine steward, their absence in no way dented our capacity for two very fine South African wines. It was also good to have with us Des Bravington (W, 1991) who has just returned from working in New York.
